IKAG ("we," "us," "our"), a trading name of I Know A Pro Limited, connects clients with vetted tradespeople and service providers across Nigeria. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what's needed to match clients with the right provider and to keep the platform trustworthy:

• From clients: name, phone number, email, service request details, guided-estimate answers, selected catalogue items, estimated totals, and location (for job matching, quotations, and order follow-up).
• From service providers: name, contact details, primary skill/service category, business name, and location submitted during registration.
• From reviewers: name, location (optional), star rating, and review text if you submit a review of your experience.
• From players of the IKAG Games Deck: a temporary random session identifier and gameplay activity such as page views, shares, completion results, attempts, choices, reply length, or level reached. See Section 6 for details.
• Automatically: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, and cookies as described in Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match clients with an appropriate, vetted provider
• To vet and onboard service providers who register with us
• To display approved client reviews on the site
• To send job status updates and confirmations via phone, email, or WhatsApp
• To improve the platform and respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Who We Share Information With

Job details (name, contact, service request) are shared only with the specific provider matched to a job, or the specific client a provider is matched with — never broadcast to unrelated users. We may share data with service providers we rely on to run the platform (e.g. hosting, form processing via Google), who are only permitted to use it to provide that service to us.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to make the site work and, where you consent, to understand how the site is used:

• Essential cookies — required for core site functionality (e.g. remembering your cookie choice). These cannot be turned off.
• Analytics cookies — help us understand site usage so we can improve it. These only load after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.

You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's site data for theikag.com and reloading the page, which will show the consent banner again.

5. Product Requests & Guided Estimates

When you use the Products page or Guided Estimate, we use the information you submit to prepare or confirm a quotation, check availability, arrange delivery or pickup, and contact you about the request. Catalogue prices are estimates until IKAG confirms the final quotation. We do not ask you to enter payment-card details on these forms.

6. Games Deck & Activity Records

The IKAG Games Deck includes Find Your Crew, This or That, Riddle Me This, Signal Flags, and Loose Lips. When you play:

• We generate a random player identifier and store it in your browser's local storage, plus a temporary session identifier in session storage. The player identifier persists on that browser/device until you clear your browser data; the session identifier normally lasts for the current browser-tab session.
• We may log page views, shares and game-completion details such as the game played, whether it was completed or won, attempts, choices, reply length, or level reached.
• You can choose a leaderboard display name on the Rankings screen. If you set one, it is shown publicly alongside your score on the daily, weekly, and all-time leaderboards. If you don't set a name, a generated placeholder name (e.g. "Player-XXXX") is shown instead. Leaderboard names and scores are not linked to your real identity unless you choose a name that reveals it.
• The Rankings screen reflects live scores submitted by players. It is not a preview.

Because the temporary identifier is stored in session storage, closing the tab or clearing the site's browser data normally resets it. If live accounts, persistent scores, display names or a public leaderboard are added later, this policy and the game controls must be updated before those features launch.

7. Reviews

Reviews submitted through the site are checked before they're shown publicly. Your name, location (if provided), rating, and review text may be displayed to other visitors once approved.

8. Data Storage & Security

Information is stored using reputable cloud infrastructure (Google Sheets/Apps Script and Cloudflare) with access limited to authorized IKAG team members. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

9. Your Rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you what information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information, subject to any legal or record-keeping requirements

10. Children's Privacy

IKAG is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as IKAG grows. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
